Starting weight, 03/07/2011:      289

After week 12, 05/30/11:  236,  4 pounds for the week, 53 total.

After week 11, 05/23/11:  240,+1 pounds for the week, 49 total.
After week 10, 05/16/11:  239,  1 pounds for the week, 50 total.
After week 09, 05/09/11:  240,  5 pounds for the week, 49 total.
After week 08, 05/02/11:  245,  2 pounds for the week, 44 total.
After week 07, 04/25/11:  247,  6 pounds for the week, 42 total.
After week 06, 04/18/11:  253,  5 pounds for the week, 36 total.
After week 05, 04/11/11:  258,  2 pounds for the week, 31 total.
After week 04, 04/04/11:  260,  5 pounds for the week, 29 total.
After week 03, 03/28/11:  265,  5 pounds for the week, 24 total.
After week 02, 03/21/11:  270,  4 pounds for the week, 19 total.
After week 01, 03/14/11:  274, 15 pounds for the week, 15 total.

Great loss for the week, but it is to be expected after a weekend long liquid protein diet.  This is the way I will continue throughout the entire month of June.

Glucose levels remain under control, after halving the evening dosage earlier this week; I am very pleased with this result, and ultimately I expect to be able to eliminate this prescription, along with the supplements,  altogether.

Daily Workout – Stationary bike

Post-workout: Protein shake; Pre-workout: Protein shake; Post-workout: Protein shake.

Liquid fasting today, with 3 protein shakes, no fruit/nuts added.

Cutting back by 2/3 on the Citrimax and Alpha-Lipoic Acid starting today; I don’t believe I need either of these any longer with the reduction in carbs from the primal eating regimen.  When I run out, I won’t be re-supplying :)

Feeling really strong this week; napping when I need it; almost never feel hungry…this is great!!

Blood Glucose – fasting – 9:00am – 82, 71st day in a row below 100….cut last night’s dose of metformin in half again, so I took 1/2 dose in the morning and 1/4 dose at night…very happy with this.

Daily Workout – Shoulders, Triceps, Stationary bike

Post-workout: Protein shake; Post-workout: Protein shake.

Liquid fasting today, with 2 protein shakes, no fruit/nuts added.

Blood Glucose – fasting – 9:00am – 90, 70th day in a row below 100….I must be drinking the final post-workout shake a little too late in the evening.

Daily Workout – Back, Biceps, Stationary bike

Snack: dill pickle; Post-workout: Double-Protein shake w/strawberries and almonds;  Snack: dill pickle; Dinner: chicken salad over spinach, avocado, tomato and cucumber; Post-workout: Protein shake w/almonds and pineapple.

I’m feeling very strong lately.  I think I have totally adapted to the primal regimen.  I’m not sure how this is going to affect my ability to shed weight, and this concerns me considerably.  I am certain the interval training of the boxing will help.
