Blood Glucose – 7:30am – 81;  metformin dosages 1/2 tab this morning and a 1/2 tab this evening

Daily Workout –  Back…travel day.

Pre-workout:  Protein shake EAS premix; Post-workout: Protein shake w/cranberries and almonds; Snack: walnuts and almonds; Dinner:  shrimp, chicken, meatballs, cheese, pineapple, strawberries.

I’m a little worried about destroying my routine over the next week.  We are traveling to Florida for the 4th, and I’m not going alone.

Daily Workout –  Chest, stationary bike; Biceps,  Stationary bike.

Pre-workout:  Protein shake EAS premix; Post-workout: Protein shake w/blueberries, strawberries and almonds; Lunch: guacamole salad w/celery and a popsicle; Pre-workout:  Protein shake EAS premix; Post-workout: Protein shake w/ cranberries and almonds; Dinner: Hotdog and coleslaw, popsicle.

Daily Workout –  Back (interval); Biceps, Stationary bike.

Post-workout: Protein shake EAS premix; Lunch: tin of sardines, celery, olives, red peppers and onions..popsicle; Snack: bacon-wrapped bratwurst; Pre-workout:  Protein shake EAS premix; Post-workout: Protein shake w/ blueberries, cranberries and almonds.

Disappointed in the weight loss (gained 2 lbs.) for the week; but my physique is still improving.

After week 15, 06/20/11:  226,  2 pounds for the week, 63 total.
After week 14, 06/13/11:  228,  3 pounds for the week, 61 total.
After week 13, 06/06/11:  231,  5 pounds for the week, 58 total.
After week 12, 05/30/11:  236,  4 pounds for the week, 53 total.
After week 11, 05/23/11:  240,+1 pounds for the week, 49 total.
After week 10, 05/16/11:  239,  1 pounds for the week, 50 total.
After week 09, 05/09/11:  240,  5 pounds for the week, 49 total.
After week 08, 05/02/11:  245,  2 pounds for the week, 44 total.
After week 07, 04/25/11:  247,  6 pounds for the week, 42 total.
After week 06, 04/18/11:  253,  5 pounds for the week, 36 total.
After week 05, 04/11/11:  258,  2 pounds for the week, 31 total.
After week 04, 04/04/11:  260,  5 pounds for the week, 29 total.
After week 03, 03/28/11:  265,  5 pounds for the week, 24 total.

Worked out hard all week, fasted over the weekend (except for the protein shakes), and gained 2 lbs. … incredible.  A bit disappointed, of course, but I suppose it’s to be expected.  Even though the scale doesn’t show a loss, I believe I have lost some fat and picked up some muscle because my body is looking/feeling better.  I am a little worried because I’m going on a short holiday vacation for the 4th, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to work out….doesn’t bode well for next week’s weigh-in either.

Week #16 is in the books, and I’m feeling really strong.  Looking forward to tomorrow’s weigh-in.
