After last week’s monumental 7.6 pound loss, I wasn’t expecting much for this week, so therefore I wasn’t surprised with a slight gain of 0.2 pounds for the week. I’ve lost a total of 79.4 pounds over 32 weeks for an average of 2.48 pounds per week. πŸ™‚ This seems pretty good for a sustained loss.

My glucose levels have crept back up, but I’m convinced this in due to my reduced activity level, coupled with the infection and antibiotics. I’m going to specifically target this area for improvement this week. I might even try the Diabetes-Warrior’s Coconut Oil & Coffee Fast for a few days. And I will definitely be hitting the gym harder this week.

I’ve let another week pass without attempting any 1 rep maxes on my strength goals; not to make excuses, but with my current mindset and health issues, it just hasn’t been a priority. I’ll get back to some normal workouts during the week, and if I’m feeling strong, I’ll go for a max on something this weekend. πŸ™‚

After repeating Week 4 last week, I started Week 5 of the 100 push-up challenge; the routine changes a bit on days 2 & 3, so I’m hoping the shock spurs some strength gains. I’m a little disappointed in my effort at the exhaustion test yesterday; I just didn’t feel particulary strong while attempting it.
