Daily Workout –  chest, stationary bike

Fasted today.

Feel pretty good, no hunger pangs today.

Blood Glucose – fasting – 9:00am – 67, 13th day in a row below 100.

Daily Workout –  Shoulders, stationary bike

Ate 1/4 cup of blackberries and 1/4 cup of roasted almonds for lunch; ate taco salad with ground buffalo, guacamole, salsa and roasted peppers for dinner.

Tired today, probably a result of yesterday’s fast and lack of sleep last night.

Daily Workout –  Back, triceps, stationary bike

Fasted today, hunger pangs didn’t start until about 30mins ago.

Blood Glucose – fasting – 9:00am – 81, 11th day in a row below 100.

Daily Workout –  Chest, biceps, stationary bike

Ate 1 cup of coleslaw for lunch; ate taco salad with ground buffalo, guacamole, salsa and roasted peppers for dinner.

Feeling great.

Edit:  Food cost for the week $71.05, includes grass fed buffalo and free-range, organic chicken!

Starting weight, March 7, 2011:  289

After week three, March 28, 2011: 265, 5 pounds for the week, 24 after 3; I am very pleased. 🙂
After week two, March 21, 2011:  270, only 4 pounds for the week, but still 19 after two.
After week one, March 14, 2011:  274 A whopping 15 pound loss in the first week! :) :) :)

I’m feeling really good right now.  The past week wasn’t easy; I was suffering from a stomach virus or allergies and couldn’t hit the gym as much as I had hoped, but I was able to maintain my diet…still no dairy, grains or potatoes.  My fasting blood glucose has been under 100 for 10 consecutive days now!!!!!!!!!  If it continues I am going to cut my morning dose of metformin in half…we’ll see.

Blood Glucose – fasting – 9:00am – 87, 10th day in a row below 100.

Daily Workout –  Sunday, no workout

Ate 1/4 cup of pineapple for lunch; ate 6oz. ham, 1/2 cup black-eye peas, 1/2 cup squash/onions and 1/2 cup apple salad for dinner.

Week #3 is in the books, looking forward to tomorrow’s weigh-in.

Blood Glucose – fasting – 9:00am – 87, 9th day in a row below 100.

Daily Workout –  approx. 30mins. – shoulders

Ate 5 strips of bacon and 6 strawberries for lunch; ate 2 cups of chicken chow mein for dinner.

We had a good, solid rain today, and it took the pollen out of the air; I’m feeling much better.  3rd week coming to a close; I feel really good about my efforts this week.

Blood Glucose – fasting – 9:00am – 85, 8th day in a row below 100.

Daily Workout –  approx. 30mins. – chest

Ate 2 boiled eggs, 1/4 cup brazil nuts and 6 strawberries for lunch; ate 6oz. corned beef, 1 cup coleslaw and 6 slices of watermelon for dinner.

I was feeling a little better from the stomach virus until I mowed the lawn this afternoon; I think it might be the pollen intake that’s playing havoc with my system.

Blood Glucose – fasting – 9:00am – 71, 7th day in a row below 100.

Daily Workout –  Skipped the workouts today; still sick.

Ate 2 scrambled eggs, 4 slices of bacon and 3 slices of watermelon for dinner; ate 1/4 cup strawberries and 1/4 cup brazil nuts for a snack.

Stomach virus was still bothering me this morning (vomiting); I think it may have run its course because I’m feeling a little better now.

Blood Glucose – fasting – 9:00am – 77, 6th day in a row below 100.

Daily Workout –  approx. 1  hour – shoulders; only 1 workout today.

Ate 2 scrambled eggs, 3 slices of bacon and 3 slices of watermelon for lunch; I vomited it about 2 hours later.  Something going on inside my stomach today.  Didn’t eat for the remainder of the day 😦
