Weekly Weigh-In

I was really please with how the week started; I had some great workouts, and I ate to program. However, towards the end of the week (Friday) things began to disintegrate rapidly…missed workouts and eating errors. I had hoped to get back on program today, but I got called out of town this morning, and I missed Monday’s workouts, and it looks like I’ll miss the regular workouts for Tuesday and Wednesday as well.
My second week of the 100 push-up challenge went really well until day 3; the increases in the defined sets were really disproportionate, and they had me whipped, so I didn’t have enough gas to get sufficient reps in the final exhaustion set. I am repeating week 3 of the program. This is fine considering my goal is not to simply complete the 6-week program, but to successfully perform 100 push-ups without stopping.

I’ve had a horrible weekend for glucose control; I ate ice cream Friday and Saturday nights, and a couple of pieces of whole grain French bread w/bruschetta on Friday night. But I know my system is working, so I’ll get the level back down this week.
